As the global conversation around sustainability intensifies, Dtocs, a Portland-based eco-friendly tableware brand, has reached an incredible milestone—selling 10 million palm leaf tableware units across the USA and Canada in just six years. Stacked on top of each other, these compostable plates would equal the height of 30 Eiffel Towers, a powerful visual of how one brand is replacing waste with purpose.
But the impact doesn’t stop at the plate.
🌍 Replacing Waste, One Plate at a Time
Dtocs was born out of tradition and innovation—blending the South Asian heritage of eating on banana leaves with modern functionality and design. Our 100% compostable, chemical-free palm leaf products provide a stylish and sustainable alternative to plastic and paper disposables for events, caterings, and conscious consumers.
By eliminating single-use plastic waste at thousands of gatherings, Dtocs is supporting the global shift toward sustainable living and a circular economy.

👩🏽 Empowering Women, Educating Futures

In 2023, Dtocs deepened its social impact with a heartfelt partnership with Anmol Sahara, a women-focused nonprofit in India. We:
-
Donated sewing machines to empower 10 women entrepreneurs
-
Sponsored education for 10 underprivileged children
-
Contributed to Greater Than PDX in Oregon, advocating for equitable education in underserved communities
This dual impact—planet and people—defines our mission.

🤝 Building a Conscious Community
Locally, we collaborate with Oregon-based nonprofits to eliminate plastic waste at corporate events. Globally, we stand with our artisans and workers, providing safe work environments, food supplies, and access to COVID-19 vaccines during the pandemic. We believe every plate should serve a purpose, and every purchase should support progress.

Dtocs is not just a tableware brand. It’s a movement—toward sustainability, equity, and impact. One plate, one woman, one child at a time.
